The Carpathians are the trip Ukrainians take most often and photograph least deliberately. Hoverla at dawn, the ridge walks, wooden churches, foggy mornings in Yaremche and the long light in autumn when the beeches turn — it accumulates over years rather than in one holiday.

That makes the Carpathians a natural subject for a book built by season rather than by route. One block for autumn, one for winter, one for summer, each with its own title spread, and the same mountains stop looking repetitive. We print in 20×30 cm on 170 gsm coated paper, hard cover, twelve to eighty pages.
